If you have ever tried to make money online, you know that it is hard work. Really hard work! The internet is literally filled with hundreds, maybe thousands, of make money online (MMO) blogs that have not been updated in months; most likely because they never made any money so they quit. While there are thousands of reasons why you could fail, here are the top 5 reasons you will fail to make any money online.
1. Lack of Focus - Stop buying the newest eBook! Stop bouncing from one technique to another. Pick one technique and actually follow it through to the end. You may not make any money, but at least you will know that you honestly tried.
2. Lack of Time - If you work 60 hours a week to put food on the table, please understand that you will not be able to make enough money in 6 months to quit your job. Earning a full-time income online requires….. well full-time effort. Until you can commit at least 40 hours a week growing your business, most likely you will have to keep your day job.
3. Lack of a Plan - If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. Pretty simple concept, pretty powerful statement.
4. Lack of Effort - My old high school PE (physical education) teacher used to say, “What you put in the 8-ball, comes out the 8-ball”. What he meant was, whatever effort you put forth, would equal the results that you achieved. He also would say, “short cuts makes losers of us all.” What a truly intelligent man!
5. Lack of Goals - This step relates to having no plan. If you do not know what constitutes success, how will you know when you get there? Seriously, decide on what your long-term goals are, then break them down into smaller, more manageable ones. Put them on paper, and hold yourself accountable.
