Sounds simple, yet millions of Americans refuse to even try. The question really becomes why? Are you afraid of what you may find out? Are you afriad you may have to grow up and be accountable to someone other than yourself? Are you afraid it will be too difficult.
To be honest with you, it is about time that you take some responsibility for your actions.
In my grandparents’ day, you did not buy things unless you had the money to pay for it. You did not even consider financing a trip to McDonalds or Burger King. If you needed a car, you paid for it in cash. Let’s stop being stupid.
Build your own bailout program. Build an emergency fund, stop using credit and stop waiting for the government to bail you out. They cannot even balance their own budget.
