Drop Affiliate Links Whenever Relevant - Make More Money
If you are trying to make money on eHow you need to maximize your revenue potential. One of the biggest mistakes I see is the failure to include affiliate links in their resource box. This is valuable real estate. Don’t waste it on links that do not make you any money.
If you are writing about saving money on your heating costs, link to a space heater from Amazon. If you are writing an article on online poker, include a link to a relevant poker affiliate. As your resource box appears at the bottom of the page, this is your last chance to earn some income. Add something that makes you money, not someone else.
A quick word of caution however. Including too many affiliate links will ALWAYS feel spammy. People love to buy things but hate to be sold anything.
@ Steve - Thanks a lot for the kind words. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by. I do not add any affiliate links on this blog. Today dot com dings you and refuses to pay you if you so much as mention an affiliate product in one of your posts.
I leave those for my other blogs!
@ Jennifer - True, but you have an advantage. When people show up to your presentations, they know you are trying to sell them something. In fact, they are usually a very hungry audience.
