How Do You Earn Money With Today dot com?
Lately, I have been getting a few questions concerning how Today dot com income is earned. The formula is relatively simple when compared to other sites such as eHow or Bukisa.
When you sign up as a VIP blogger on Today, you earn $2 per thousand page views, during your 30 day provisional period. If you blog consistently, you will typically then be offered a chance to earn money per post. Typically, you will complete anywhere from 5 to 15 posts before the editors at Today have time to get to your posts for approval. Once they are approved, you will see the earnings in your VIP stats section.
In order to actually get paid, you must earn at least $50. Once you have reached this threshold, you will be paid via paypal.
I hope this helps!
Pretty easy work. I have no complaints!

Okay. Here’s a few to think about. Many, and I mean MANY bloggers that started with me are no longer here. The one dollar a day gets dropped if they don’t write blogs a certain way, if there’s not a certain number of readers. And that’s okay in some respects. You need to promote your blog. But when you work hard, hard, hard to research, to write well, to keep in touch with comments, well, it’s a real blow to your incentive button.
But if you work hard to put out a good blog as I do, and then you get dropped, it’s a huge blow. The people at Today have not answered all of my questions when I write to them, though I know they are busy. But why aren’t we allowed to get other monetary means besides adsense?
The forum often has people ask questions that no one answers. No one. It’s cumbersome to use and get to if you don’t go there when you log in.
I blog on one other network…a humorous blog. The support is as different as night and day and the Today folks could learn from this so much. Like RSS feeds. You need to get your own here automatically. Here, I still haven’t been able to get mine to work. There it is provided. Support is quick and easy. There are no forums. It’s not a perfect site, but darned close. Here I can type the words to get these comments received sometimes three or four times before it will get picked up. Over there, it’s a easy picture and one word. Bam! Your comments are accepted.
Besides that, they are encouraging. When you write or contact them, they are upbeat and excited for you. Here everyone sounds overworked, stressed. Their answers to you are one word. It’s like, Why bother me?
I like Today. I think it has such potential. But they will die, die,die if they don’t make changes.
Thanks for letting me rant. And I don’t care if you send this to the Today people. They probably could care less anyway.
The above comment has really been disheartening.I was so looking forward to having a second blog with today. After reading the comment of wearmanyhats I am seriously thinking of going to another blogging site.I have been blogging here for nearly 2 months and still have not heard if I can do a second blog but now am not sure I want to .I do have 2 blogs with blogger.com I may just continue there but I was really injoying this site. But I want to earn money also.I enjoy blogging on topics I am interested in but it makes it all worthwhile to have an incentive too.
