So I actually missed 3 days of posting on this blog this month. I had high expectations of going twenty-eight for twenty-eight, but life got in the way. Additionally, I barely created any new articles on eHow, so my eHow earnings will be primarily from older articles. It should be interesting to calculate the final numbers in a few days.
Unfortunately for me, March is looking rather busy as well. I do not do taxes for a living, but this year I am attempting to do a few of our companies by myself. I have never claimed to be a tax expert, so we shall see how this pans out over the next 17 days - FYI, Corporations have to file their taxes each year by March 15th.
Have you ever wanted to attempt something that you have never tried previously? Were you scared to fail or otherwise NOT live up to your expectations somehow. Yeah! That is me right now. Sure, this is going to save us huge bucks, but at what cost. I have been putting in some seriously long hours since I still have to run the day-to-day operations for our companies. I am seriously feeling overwhelmed…but I love every minute of it!
I just wish I could be spending more time with my son.

Blogger burnout is a serious problem that most of us will face at one time or another. Writer’s block, as it is more commonly known, can strike at any time and often without warning. I read a ton of different blogs everyday. Some of my favorite writers have simply stopped producing new content. While I realize that life happens, I cannot help but be sad. Sad for myself, sad for the readers, just plain sad. While not all dead blogs can be attributed to blogger burnout, I would venture a guess that a large percentage can be.
Here are a few ways to limit the chance of you getting writer’s block.
1. Do Not Post Too Often - If you post too often, you may run out of interesting things to discuss. Try not to publish 10 posts during one week and none the following week. This will confuse your readers and may actually prevent them from coming back.
2. Blog About What You Enjoy - Too often, bloggers will create blogs around certain niches merely because they appear to be profitable. While you may make a few dollars, you will quickly hate what you are doing. From there it is a short jump to letting your blog die.
3. Have Realistic Expectations - Clearly define why you are blogging. Do you do it because you love it, or is it for the money. Either way, your readers will be able to tell the difference.
What other tips can you think of that will help prevent blogger burnout?
Thanks for stopping by!

Corporations do not pay taxes, consumers do. It is a basic fact that corporations pass the costs associated with any taxation straight to their customers in the form of higher prices. Currently, the United States has a tremendously high corporate tax rate. But can our economy handle higher corporate tax rates?
If our new administrations raises corporate tax rates, like Obama wants to, corporations will then have to raise their prices even more. Either that, or move their companies to another country that does not tax them as severly. You think spending is down now?
Jobs cannot be created in a system with higher tax rates. If corporations are taxed more, profit margins are lower. If profit margins are lower, companies run to other borders, taking jobs with them, or they simply stop producing as much. Do I have the answer?
Absolutely not! Just do not raise corporate taxes too much or the effects may be worse than we can imagine.

How to you keep yourself motivated? Do you wake up each morning with the passion and commitment to accomplish your dreams? Are you one of those people who make New Year’s Resolutions every year, only to quit by February? At one time in my life, I was. I would imagine myself in a better place only to quit once it got difficult. I had no follow through.
Now I set goals, and EXPECT myself to complete them. It is personal, and I make it personal. I am the only person who can change me. You are the only person who can change you! Now let’s get going.
eHow - Publish an average of 1 article a day. This means that by December 31, 2009, I should have over 400 articles published on eHow. If each article earns me $0.50 per month, I should be making $200 per month from this bank of articles.
Bukisa - Publish 10 articles a month. Get the the $50 minimum payout.
Today - Publish 1 article a day, gaining 100 RSS subscribers.
Affiliate Marketing - Write 5 articles a week promoting affiliate products. Make 5 affliliate sales a month.
Weight - Lose 30 pounds. this one should prove to be the most difficult as I HATE exercise with a passion.
What goals have you set for yourself? Do you add to your list once you completed the goals on your list. Have you ever had the perfect year, in which you actually completed ALL of your goals and then some?

I spend all day in front of a computer screen at work. To be honest with you, when I come home I do not want to waste time doing things that will not contribute to my passive income streams. There was a time when I would spend hours simply reading blogs, posting comments and doing work that did not add to my profitability. Lately I have been wondering how to increase my efficiency, and hopefully my effectiveness, when it comes to my online work.
At my day job, I plan every detail of my day. I have lists that tell me when I have meetings, when I am free for lunch, what has to get done today…this week….this month. The main thing is that I have a system that I use that helps me stay focused and get more work done. When it comes to my online work, I do not really have anything that keeps me focused. As a result, I tend to waste more time that I would like.
As such, starting in January, I will be creating daily, weekly and monthly goals. I will post these weekly and monthly goals at the start of every week, so that hopefully you can hold me accountable. I will go on record today as saying that I want to make $500 per month online. I think this is a realistic goal, since I am currently at a lot lower amount. $1,000 may be a tad out of my reach this year, but by 2010, even that should be achievable.
Wouldn’t it be exciting to watch someone learn how to make money online… step-by-step? I have always wondered how people make money online. There are literally thousands of ways to do so, but how do you make money? How do you promote your affiliate products? How do you find ideas for eHow articles (or Bukisa)? Do you do the whole pay-for-post thing? Drop me a comment. I will take a few of the best ideas and see if I can make any money from it from scratch.
